Of course what attracted me was the cover but this book is actually really good. I love the main characters Drew and Fable. So falling in love in one week doesn't seem realistic but Monica Murphy's writing definitely made it seem possible.
Drew is a spoiled rich kid who has a messed up home life so in order to escape it he focuses on school and football and stays away from girls because they are the root of his problem. His family thinks he's gay because he never talks about any girls but Drew ...more

Despite the short length of this story, I really got pulled in by Fable & Drew's story.
This isn't the usual story where boy meets girl & is afraid of commitment or something else equally trivial. Drew has issues,as does Fable, that threaten them at every point. 3.5 stars for this somewhat shocking story of a very messed up young man. The author did an amazing job of having the reader feel Drew's pain. I felt sick to my stomach for most of the book. I loved Fable, what a self-aware and strong young women. So glad she is willing to love and accept Drew and help him heal.

Loved it! Eagerly awaiting book 2. :) I thought the premise was a little flimsy and unrealistic, but once I started I totally believed in Drew, Fable and their circumstance. I absolutely loved how we are introduced to them by the meaning of thier names, and the quotes at the start of every chapter which told me if this chapter would be happy or sad were beautiful. Simply put this book is beautiful and a must read.
