My name is Leah and I will do anything to keep my husband.
How could I absolutely LOVE a book about a character i despise? Because Tarryn Fisher is brilliant. Love her writing! The Opportunist was one of the first books I ever read that didn’t give me a HEA and I didn’t care- It was just that good. This book, I didn’t want a HEA- not for Leah anyway.
Whoever she was, I would wipe her from his memory in no time at all. Why? Because I was the best of the best: the Godiva, the Maserati, the perf ...more

***3.5 Stars***
I wasn't sure about this one, but I felt differently when Leah "confessed" to Caleb. For some reason I loved when she stuck it to him! What a bitch and I loved her for it. ...more

I just finished a re-read of this book in preparation of Thief, the final book in the series. The first time I read it I was annoyed mostly because so many spoilers had been posted everywhere on social media sites that it gave EVERYTHING away.
That being said, at the time I gave it 3-3.5 stars.
Now...having been able to sit down months later and start from the beginning and even knowing everything that happens, I have to change my review to a 4.5.

Psychotic, disgusting, vile, this-woman-should-be-sterilized!
I can't even get into Leah, she is probably one of the worst human beings known to man, she's right up there side by side with the Avoiding Series' Bekah. I can't stand her, she's cruel she does nothing out of love for anyone, in fact I am not sure she is a person who has any heart to speak of. It was hard to read about her almost distaste for her own child, and I know that is part of the story to show us that she really is who she is ...more

Dirty Red was like rubbernecking on the interstate....you know it's bad, but you can't look away. Leah's warped and manipulative tactics kept me enthralled, wanting more, while disgusted at the same time. As much as I wanted to continue hating Leah, this book gave her character dimension. The unveiled revelations of her family's childhood secrets almost had me sympathizing with her....almost. Until once again she ruins any chance for redemption. As others have said, Leah is the one character eve

I like The Opportunist very much. I really excited when I know this baby come out early.
There's couple of pages I skipped to read in this book. It seems like Leah is constantly complaining, complaining, and bitching around. I keep going though.
BUUUTT.. It's worth the end! It's like saving the best for last.
Its such a pleasure to read when all the lies is served in the table. I like how tarryn twist the story around and make me want to throw away my iphone at the end of it. Can't wait for the nex ...more

I love this book almost as much as the first, and I'm not even finished. As much as I loved Olivia, I hate Leah! I don't use that word hate readily. Leah is vindictive, ruthless and conniving.
I was surprised by the twists in the story.
Can't wait for Caleb's POV!
If tarryn fisher reads this, I like Noah but I want Caleb and Olivia to end up together! They are meant to be together!
Just finished!!!! Omg omg omg!!! I loved the book. Fantastic ending, so happy for Caleb to spill the beans & finally ...more
