I'm so conflicted with this one. I absolutely loved "The Opportunist", but Dirty Red just didn't stir the same emotions for me.
First of all, my dislike for Leah has not wavered. I thought it might since this was her POV, but no. If anything it intensified it. I HATED Leah and how she used her child like a pawn. It drove me insane and it was at times hard for me to read.

Leah, Leah, Leah...you evil, caniving b*+#h!!! Being inside your head was intriguing while also being a thorough mind-f*#k, and I still want to shove your fingers down the garbage disposal similar to how you disposed of the frozen vegetables.
I read each page sooo slowly as I didn't want miss a lick of what was going on and while also having to force my eyeballs to not slide to the bottom of each page to find out what was said next.

DAMN.......Dirty Red is an evil, evil chick!!! I dove in and devoured this novel! After how much I loved the Opportunist I was wondering how much better the story could get, but boy was I ever wrong! Tarryn Fisher does not disappoint!!! There was angst, hatred, and so many twists and turns I could barely keep them straight! I love...love Tarryn Fisher and her writing style! This was so fun to read. I love seeing inside of Leah's head, although it just reiterated my hatred for her. There were things about her and her life that broke my heart. She is so insecure and desperate, and its so sad to see anyone who is that way...but, she is NOT a good person. Right up to the end, she is evil and ugh...I just love to hate her! I am so looking forward to the next book in this series, because no matter what, I LOVE Caleb and

I have never read a book that mad me hate the main character so much. Wow.
Wow.. this book was GREAT! Ok so it'll piss you off and make you question why you want to read about such a horrible person. But boy, it makes you feel just as sad and a little heart broken for Leah. does she really deserve what she got... maybe but, maybe not. I'm torn. I've never wanted the next book to come out as bad as I do this one!
