What a book! I want more!
It had it all: incredible characters that the author took the time to let you get to know. I mean these people(and there were a lot of them) were flawed and at times broken, but had such genuine hearts. The hero, Tate, made quite an entry and impression on the Lauren/Ace/Babe, the heroine immediately. "Sorry, old, fat ass, suburban bitch" was how he described the sweet heroine ( who heard his hurtful words) and was trying to find a special place to live and cope after a

My thoughts haven't changed about this book. Admittedly I wasn't blown away as much as before but that is because I already knew what was coming......But it was still an extremely satisfying read.
I wouldn't normally have touched this with a barge pole and the only reason I did originally read it back in 2012 was because a load of my GR friends was raving about it. At first I couldn't understand why as I was struggling with it but once I got to the midd ...more

On my recent Kristen Ashley binge, after Motorcycle Man, this book is definitely Ms. Ashley's best offering. The story is well-developed. I liked that our characters start out hating each other, it adds fuel to their passion. I also enjoy the way that the characters in her novels usually get together towards the beginning of the novel and then spend the rest of the novel exploring each other, with a little thrillerish twist thrown in at the end for the climatic ending.

Really enjoyed Lauren and Tate's story. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
