Wow- this was an intense story... Lexi and Jack, I spent most of the book conflicted; I wasn't sure if they should be together or not. I'm still not sure honestly, Jack does something to totally piss you off, then makes you love him again ugh. I think my heart was still in my throat when I finished reading this, and that's why I hadn't reviewed it. This book brought out emotions in me that were either buried, or I didn't realize I had. I.Loved.It. The only way I can describe what this story does is like this: it shoves a hand in your stomach and pulse squeezes your insides. I felt like charging my kindle and killing one of the characters with my bare hands at one point.

Is it possible to arm wrestle someone to the ground through a book?!? Oh, Jack Howard, you are the most infuriating man in the fictional planet. I'm still scratching my head on this one, it has me cursing, shouting and on the verge of an angst melt down. 5 stars for keeping me on my toes and making me look for a 'Jack' on the street so I could beat him up. If you can’t tell I am definitely not on Team J. I am Team everyone else but Jack. HAHA!

OMG! What a freaking roller coaster ride this book was!

A chapter in, I wanted to stop reading! Jack already had me in knots! He was such a jackass and he had just been introduced! I mean come on, man, this is freaking chapter 1!

I took one for the team and kept reading and eventually found that I could NOT put the book down. I was frustrated through every turn of the page. Hoping against all hope that Jack would change and Lexi and he would finally get to be together. I mean, who calls some gir ...more

I dont know if I want Jack and Lexi to be together. In some ways, I do and in some, I dont.. it seems that Jack wants power and wealth when he's with Bekah and love when he's with Lexi. He's also a selfish bastard because he already has Bekah and still wants Lexi at the same time making her confused. Of course, it's wonderful to have the man that you love but if he doesnt choose you twice, it only means he's not worth it....so now I'm with Ramsey...and I'm waiting for Avoiding Responsibility...I ...more
