I wasn’t sure what to expect before reading this book, but it was a quick, light read. Great for summer, too.
Ashton, Sawyer, and Beau were best friends as children. Ash and Beau were as thick as thieves, and Sawyer covered for both of them. Fast forward to high school. Ashton is dating Sawyer, and Beau is the town’s bad boy. But when Sawyer is away on a camping trip, Beau and Ashton resort to being as bad as they once were. Both realize what they’ve been missing, but Ashton is afraid if she ...more

Ashton Gray has always been the good girl. She's the preacher's daughter, who is expected to live up to her parents expectations while juggling the pretense of being the perfect girlfriend for her boyfriend. It doesn't help that her boyfriend, Sawyer Vincent, is the town's golden boy.
Enter Beau Vincent, Sawyer's bad-boy cousin. Once upon a time the three of them did everything together, and Beau was her best friend and partner in her crime. But then she grew up and both Vincent boys noticed. Ash ...more

So, I had been highly recommended to read Existence which I realised was by the same author as a book I had on my Kindle (The Vincent) boys that I hadn't got around to reading.
I thought I'd read this first, more as a fill in book before buying Existence.
Well, this certainly was no "fill in" book for me!!
I started and finished this book in one sitting yesterday and loved it.
It was everything I wanted at that time - a good escape and likeable characters and I really loved the story. Well Beau isn' ...more

4.5 stars....I really enjoyed this...felt like a cross between "That Boy" and "My Heart For Yours"... I love the chemistry between Beau and Ashton....and glad that Sawyer was still the good guy that he always was....spoiler alert....his confession to Ashton was my favorite scene with him.....admitting that he never should have asked her out to begin with, knowing her bond with Beau...I loved that the author included that....very, very well done!
more spoilers......
And the twist.....oh the twist!! ...more
