I’m sorry to say that I almost didn't finish reading this book. I didn't connect with the story or the characters. Roni is a twenty year old woman, who just lost her mother to cancer, and her boyfriend of two years left her. Her best friend Nelli, tired of seeing Veronica so depressed, and giving up on life, decided to sign her up at the local gym, hoping that losing the extra pounds will help Roni claim her life back. Veronica and Noah

Veronica is a very relatable character in the sense as she is as normal as they come. She could be me, or a friend, or a classmate, or a next door neighbor, or even you.

Noah is a nineteen year old boxer who is on a mission to prove that he can take the reigns of 5th Street. He's also my favorite type of character: an absolute Alpha Male!

When love is concerned age isn't anything but a number and this novel proves it.
