Eh. This series did not impress me and this book was my least favorite as I just did not like it. I wasn't a fan of the romance, the characters annoyed me at times, and there was content that I didn't like (heated romance scenes and a ton a swearing -- way too much for a YA read). This is such an awesome book. I mean the previous books were already great but this one is the best. A lot has definitely improved. Finally, Juliette had an attitude makeover. I liked her more in this book because she's not so whiny, pessimistic, and scared anymore. She has become really stronger than I thought her powers and character would be. Of course, there's also her and Warner. Gosh, I fell in love with these two. I had a wonderful time reading their story..how they fell for each other.Th ...more

No words can describe how much I love this series and this book in particular. I am reminded, just how powerful Tahereh Mafi's storytelling is, I felt the passion and felt the power of her word choice throughout this whole book, even though I knew exactly how it was going to end. Still one of my favorite books of all time. And I'm really looking forward to her continuation in Restore Me. I hope it's as good as this book was!!! <3 <3 <3
