Even though I knew from the moment I picked this up that it was a pre-teen kind of book, I still couldn't get over how horrifyingly pre-teen it really was. There were many, many, cringeworthy lines and they often interrupted the flow of the page.
However, it is very hard for me to dislike a book, so I must admit, I really did like the story, BUT for anyone over the age of 13, I've gotta say, the TV show is better on this one. ...more
