A very touching memoir, this book explores the up and downs (and even more ups) of living with and surviving a mental illness. Even if you've not been affected by someone living with this illness, you'll still be able to relate to Karen's situations and the emotional roller coaster of reactions to the harassment she endured. Australian, Karen Tyrrell has bi-polar, an illness that affects many millions of people. Her memoir, Me and Her: A Memoir of Madness, is about her life with bipolar. The book is her quest to understand and control her bipolar, and her quest to find out why she developed the illness.
