Another wonderful historical fantasy from one of my all-time favourite writers. I was a little disappointed – given the title - that the book wasn’t actually set at Sevenwaters (the location of many of Juliet’s books), but it was lovely to meet some old friends and the story had me guessing almost to the very end. And the love story was quite beautiful.

I've had time to stew over this one, and I've thought hard. Like I found it slow in the beginning, vague in a way, and the action really only picked up near the end, where they go off on a journey to return that dragon selkie or whatever she is.
I feel like it took forever to get to this crucial part of the plot, and that it got a tiny bit annoying reading the prophecy and premonitions about it and how the two were going to go off on a mission, and having to wait so ...more

Some great characters and the story was enthralling with some great twists, turns and surprises.
