What Members Thought
Such a fun read! It has been many years since I last read this - possibly 20+ years, so this felt like a new read even if I was familiar with the characters. In saying that, however, I felt that Mary Poppins are even more exaggerated in this novel.
She's vain.
She continually checks herself in mirrors and shop windows.
She's stern.
I totally wish I can channel her looks with my boys! That'd silence them, all right.
Her no-nonsense attitude.
Yet nothing about her makes any sense!
