I have to be honest, I’ve been agonising over this review for days, worried that no matter how carefully I word it, that I’d inadvertently reveal something that could spoil The Ex for the reader. Something I definitely don’t want to do. I’ve drafted paragraph after paragraph, and deleted them all, so I’m going to make this short and sweet.

OMG I seriously don't know how I can review this great book without any spoilers!! Georgia is a nurse in a Sydney hospital and after being stood up in a bar by a tinder date she meets Luke - he is personable, well spoken and good looking - almost too good to be true. I really enjoyed this fast-paced thriller by Nicola Moriarty which I managed to devour over a few days. It’s a story about Georgia, a single nurse, who finally meets a guy (Luke) who makes her feel special and loved. There’s only one problem, Luke has an ex (Cadence) who is finding it difficult to let Luke go. Sending aggressive messages, Georgia begins to worry about what Cadence is capable of…. And ...more

I'm so glad I found this gem! Why wasn't this more hyped up by BookTubers?
This book would be perfect for someone who loves domestic thrillers - it had the right amount of contemporary story and thrill. While the overall plot (up to a point) was quite predictable for me (as were most other domestic thrillers), the characters, dialogues, and description of events were what set this apart from other books of similar genre.
