Melaina was a “dream therapist” working in a room at the back of her friend Serenity’s New Age Gift shop in Canberra. She was part human (from her Mum) and part Oneiroi (from her Dad) and had special gifts which enabled her to see inside people’s dreams; to adjust them and remove the causes of their nightmares, among other things. With not a lot of customers (they were sceptical to say the least) she struggled to pay the bills, but Serenity recommended her on many occasions which helped.
