When Aunt Elizabeth and Isla’s father David had to journey to England from Australia unexpectedly, the reason for their trip was a sad one. But what happened when they arrived in London meant Isla and Jack had to make the decision to return to the Old World themselves. The revenge and death which was being plotted by the Old World fae against Isla and her family strengthened her fight – she must meet up with her mother, Melpomene at long last; she must prove her strength and win the fight to save her beloved family.

But could Isla survive crossing the oceans between Australia and England? Her confidence was stronger with her hob by her side but her journey was fraught with danger; the new experiences were both awe inspiring and terrifying. Her goal was immense – proving that she was Melpomene’s daughter was vital. But could she? Would she?

I absolutely loved this third and final installment in the Isla’s Inheritance series by Aussie author Cassandra Page. An excellent plot which brought everything to a very satisfying conclusion; the storyline is brilliant. The author has a great imagination and is definitely at the top of her game! I have no hesitation in recommending Melpomene’s Daughter highly, but if you haven’t read Isla’s Inheritance (#1) and Isla’s Oath (#2) I implore you to do so first. You won’t be sorry! (I love the cover too!)
