Amazing. Sexy. I just can't say enough about this book. I loved the first one and thought "it can't possibly get better." But I was wrong, Silence is the best by far. Patch is the perfect male character. Not even the awesome plot twists and love story can compare to the image of this hottie on a motorcycle. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. ...more

This book. What can I say?... WOW. In one word that about sums it up, but since I've never been the quite type I'll extend my answer.
First of all, I had no idea what to expect in this book because Crescendo left me completely in the dark about what would happen. This book. What can I say?... WOW. In one word that about sums it up, but since I've never been the quite type I'll extend my answer.
First of all, I had no idea what to expect in this book because Crescendo left me completely in the dark about what would happen. In the end of book #2, Patch had finally told Nora he loved her and I couldn't have been happier. I even did a mental happy dance—since I didn't want to stop reading and do an actual one—when it finally happened. The my rocket crashed on solid concrete not even two pages later when douchebag, I mean Hank, appeared in Patch's apartment and seized them. I knew it was over but I still flipped the page in the hopes of a very unlikely miracle. After that I was dying for Silence to be released. I refused to read the synopsis to the upcoming book because that would simply make me antsy and the book wasn't coming out in forever! So when the book was already being shipped over, I went on Becca's blog and read the first chapter. I was so confused. So, I went ahead and read the synopsis. When I read that Nora could be falling in love again the first word that popped to mind was "Hell?" then, "Traitor!". The damn books wouldn't get here fast enough! When they finally arrived and i got to read my precious copy I all but died.
Becca has such a knack for keeping you intrigued, confused and happy all rolled into one. Not an easy feat. It turns out that Nora's memory has been wiped clean and she doesn't remember Patch, at all. Tragic, I know. She's also been missing for three months and she can't remember a single thing. But there's a funny feeling she has sometimes like something vital is missing but she just can't quite put her finger on it. During this crazy unknowing state, Nora is determined to regain the knowledge of the lost memories for the last 5 months of her life and she runs into a strange, dark and beautiful boy named Jev—(I know, right?! Who knew! I almost died and was so relived!)—who knows about her hazy past. I actually liked Nora in this book, unlike the second one where I was a bit irritated with her. I did not however appreciate how little affection she showed towards Patch in this book while he was wearing his heart out on his sleeve the whole time. i felt that she was... detached? Cautious? I'm not sure. But that's just me. Maybe there's nothing wrong and I'm just miffed because I wanted more Patch.
As they stand in the middle, on the brink of a war between fallen angels and nephilim, Patch and Nora try to salvage their romance and trust in each other.

This book wasn't really one of my favorites from the Hush, Hush series. It was amazingly surprising and seriously kept me guessing but it was honestly the most frustrating of the four books because you want so badly for Nora to remember Patch. Even so, it was still a fantastic book and I found it hard to put down. ...more
