Crescendo (Hush, Hush, #2) in Have you fallen for the fallen? (aka Patch lovers)

I got Crescendo the day it was out in UK and finished it in only a couple of hours cuz it was so AMAZING. i am a huge fan of hush hush and this sequel didnt disappoint - it was even better!

The book kicks off with Nora enjoying summer with her boyfriend/guardian angel Patch <3 when she says the big words - i love you - to him and things get complicated. She finds out that he had been hanging outside Marcie's window. This leads to an argument where Nora finds out that the archangels are watching them and that Patch could be sent to hell for being with her. They end up having a break up.:(

A new character is also introduced - SCOTT!(Nora's childhood friend who has moved back to Coldwater) Nora plays rebound with him but that turns out to be dangerous since he is another bad boy with his own secrets that he doesnt want her to find out. When Patch sees them together, he warns Nora to stay away from him which gets her really angry and she fires him as her guardian angel - this leads to a lot of the events in this book. Throughout the book, Patch is always following Marice around which ofcourse makes Nora extremely jelous and she starts hanging out with Scott. Another twist in the plot is that Nora starts seeing her dead father and sets off to find out what really happened the night he was murdered. Nora and Vee also do a lot of sneaky spy work , which was AWESOME!

This book is full of myestery and there are surprises everywhere.You also find out about someone called The Balck Hand who supposedly killed Nora's dad. The dialogue are fantastic and every character was well-written. I really liked Scott's addition and i would love to see more of his character in TEMPEST, Vee was absolutely hilarious and i loved Nora - she has become my fav protagonist even though at times she makes impulsive decisions which she lives to regret.

Patch ofcouse, was sexy and not at all the jerk i expected. YOu also get to see his jelous side which i loved to read. I think he was the real hero of the book and i really would have liked to see more of him in this book. The whole angel and nephilim mythology is fascinating, the whole plot is outstanding and there are very unexpected things going on like the villain - you would not see that coming! The book ends with a HUGE cliffhanger which made the wait for TEMPEST a lot worse. I would have given this book even more stars if that were possible and i recommend it to everyone. As i said before , this series is the best !! i was so excited when the book was released , but whtahappend with oatch and nora , he was practically protecting her , but things turned so bad between them !!! the ending was very bitterwseet , maybe when you read it you'll hate patch in the first 150 pages , because i know i almost did !! couldnt put in down then i got to the end which was magnaficient (sorry if i spilled it wrong)CANT WAIT FOR SILENCE , on ocyober the 4th ...more
