This book was amazing!!!!! I had so many emotions. Damn you Veronica Roth, seriously need to read the next one :)

You know when you read a book that feeds your brain nutritious, healthy mind-food? You know when you feel completely satisfied with a book after you read it, but strangely it takes you a while to start reading again? Well, this book was NOT like that.
This book, instead of feeding my brain, took it on a jog. It worked it out, made me think, made me live that book. I have not read a book like that in a long time.

SOOOO MANY EMOTIONS. I still can't get the second book because my dad doesn't want to, so im just crying onto my pillow.
Beatrice is so kick-butt. I LOVEEEE FOUR/TOBIAS. Tobias is also kick-butt, but both of them are (view spoiler) and
they are amazing. the book itself is a rollercoaster. And if you like dystopian books you'll love divergent.

This book was AMAZING!!! I absolutely loved the characters and how life like they felt to me. I could never put it down. I made extremely weird noises. And my heart was broken then stitched together only to be broken once again and stitched up once more. I fell in love with this book right away!

I absolutely loved Roth's writing technique. I feel like she ended her chapters really well and always kept me sitting on the edge of my seat. There are not a lot of books that I read that I don't predic This book was AMAZING!!! I absolutely loved the characters and how life like they felt to me. I could never put it down. I absolutely loved Roth's writing technique. I feel like she ended her chapters really well and always kept me sitting on the edge of my seat. There are not a lot of books that I read that I don't predict the ending of. This book had me feeling one emotion, and then changing in five seconds flat. As soon as I thought I had it all figured out, there would be yet another plot twist. Overall, it was one of the best books I have ever read.

I know I tend to enjoy everything I read for different reasons but, I never read a published futuristic book quite like this. I feel like the story was very well thought out and it flowed very naturally for me. It was extremely realistic which I enjoyed and it had no paranormal beings. If anything I would take out some of the violence. Don't get me wrong, I love a good fight and some deaths here and there, but there a couple times where I though to myself..." That I could have lived without." Though, I feel like it just made it more realistic in the sense that, that is what our world is becoming and I can see it turning out as bad as that.

I feel like I could really relate to the characters. I know some people will fin that some are too whiny or vulnerable or they feel like they would have done it differently and I totally respect that. I for one, did not find anything I disliked about any of the characters. I found that their motives were realistic, there thought and actions are what I can see people doing in the moment at those certain circumstances and I feel like this book could have seriously been written based on true events. I, absolutely LOVED Four. I found his sarcasm charming, his bitterness attractive and over all, it was like he was a magnet pulling me towards him. I loved his whole, bad boy side as well as the sweet, nice, serious young boy he hid inside. I found his character amazing and had to remind myself that he wasn't real several times.

I really like the whole idea about them wanting power and what they do in order to get it. Again, very realistic.

This book was I swear the best book I have ever read, and I didn't think anything would beat twilight. I am a little scared about what I will do when the series finishes, or even when I am done the second and waiting for the third.

I fell in love with this book. I loved pretty much everything about it. I recommend it to pretty much anyone! (Please do not think you won't like it because I said I like twilight and you don't. I think what got me so hooked on twilight was the romance between Edward and Bella. That's it. I did notice the occasional flaw in their character but hey, even fictional people aren't perfect. I loved twilight but just because you didn't doesn't necessarily mean you won't like this so...please give it a try. :) if you have read this book and didn't like it, I totally respect that. I understand there are some things I loved apt hat others won't like. That fine. This is strictly my opinion.)

Yayayay for divergent. Loved it. I would probably start crying if I didn't know that insurgent was waiting in my bookshelves for me to read it. <3 I hope you love this book as much as I did! :)

I'd heard so many good things about this book that I immediately put it on my must read list. I wasn't disappointed. You quickly become attached to the likable characters while wanting to pummel the bad guys. To me that makes a great book. The plot twists are fantastic and unexpected.
However, I feel like it was too long. It was a tad repetitive, and with all the hype it was getting and the movie it was gonna be made into, it left my expectations too high, but I found I didn't like the book as m ...more

I had gotten this book on Christmas and hadn't ever read it before! I must say, this book is AMAZING! Tied, if not, BETTER than The Hunger Games! I plan on buying the other two from this trilogy as soon as possible:)

I recommend this books to ANYONE who found interest in The Hunger Games; You Will Love It.

I loved the way this book was written, and, though it is relative to The Hunger Games series, it is completely unique in its own way. Divergent kept me reading for hours upon hours, literally, and I am ready to read the next book in the series.
