I read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo on holiday earlier this year and I think it was a case of too much hype making my expectations too high, however although it was not the blow me away read I was expecting I did enjoy it.

This one started off slow for me, there were too many references about what had happened in the previous book, which I guess is helpful if you happened to pick this book up first, but a bit tedious otherwise. Lisbeth seems to be far more prominent in this book which is no ba ...more

I don't love Laarsen's writing style, but he was an exciting storyteller. Definitely a page turner, especially since the first book,Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, got me invested in the characters. ...more

I completed the first in the 'millenium' series minutes ago.

Just itching to get at this next one.

I thought the first couple of pages were slow but then I couldn't put it down. At the end of this one was the first chapter for the next one. I read it and promptly ordered it for my nook. Other than the economic lessons in book 1, this series is great. ...more
