I'm so glad I finally read this one...well, I actually listened to it while on a road trip today. It was amazing.

Day/Daniel was probably my favorite character. JuneBug...love the nickname. I certainly didn't expect her to (view spoil

This novel has quite a typical dystopian plot, it follows the well trodden path of boy meets girl, they fall in love, something is obstructing their love, they overcome said obstruction and discover secrets about their government.

Oh MY GOODNESS! It was a beautiful book. It vaguely reminded me of the Hunger Games, only because of the overbearing political leader/ deluded sense of society... I honestly could not put it down. I hate when books are stretched out when it's not necessary. It's hard not to compare young adult dystopian books and this one's not my favorite, but I found it to be better than a lot out there. ...more

I really enjoyed the dystopian world and the characters and the plot. Only issue was that I felt like the romance between Day and June escalated a bit too quickly.
