I started this book back in January after receiving the trilogy as a Christmas present. I tossed the book to the side shortly after starting it as I was so bored and annoyed by the incessant use of slang such as "shank-face." For some reason, I decided to give the book another chance a couple weeks ago and I felt as though the story just dragged on and on for far longer than necessary.
