Appeared to just whittle back and forth in the attempts to create some kind of shape but I, unfortunately, just could not get into it. I'm sure very many people may love this book for reasons I can only guess. I'm not one of those people. I may come back and reread this as people say it gets better towards the latter half of the book, but to me, a bad half is a bad whole if a book fails to engage you within the first 50 pages.
