This book has a lot of great strategies for how to communicate with children to avoid meltdowns and tantrums, and also encourage problem-solving skills. My son is on the young end of this range, so not all the tips were immediately helpful, but it will be nice to have this information for the future. I borrowed this for the library, but I do think it would be useful to have it on hand to refer back to when specific problems arise.
