What an engrossing page turner! 15 year old June is the top of her class. She is the only person who has scored a perfect 1500 on her test, which allows her access to the finest school at a young age. She is being trained to serve in the military, the Republic’s highest honor, of which both her father and brother are part.

4.5 Stars!! Legend lives up to its hype- fans of the Hunger Games and Divergent trilogies will eat this right up. I've been really disengaged from reading lately and Legend was exactly what I needed-- I could not put it down! The action and suspense starts immediately.

I took off half a star because I'm not a huge fan of switching narrators and POVs, as it's so hard to distinguish their voices. The only time I've seen this done successfully is when the POVs are written by two different authors ( ...more
