What Members Thought

I'm glad I finally got around to reading this classic. The main question it raises - about the responsibilities of science and society for what it creates - is one valid today. I imagine it inspiring spirited high school lit discussions of what Frankenstein's creature represents today.
Still, the writing was at times far too flowery for my personal taste and I was at least 20% into the book before the real story began. I'm glad to have read the novel but I wasn't sad to finish it, either. ...more
