What a tender, romantic and lovely book. Eleanor is new to town and can’t find a place to sit on the school bus. She’s a bit odd - lots of flaming red hair with strange clothing and accessories. Park relents and lets her sit next to him. He is half-Korean, wears lots of black and loves punk and new wave music.

Um how have I not read this every year since the first time??? On my to do list from now on...
Still. My. Absolute. Favorite. Story. On so many levels. Park and Eleanor still make my heart melt the most! And the eyeliner...omg, still the eyeliner!!!!

Soo cute.
This story ended much better than I expected. Eleanor and Park were adorable, and I’m glad they got to support one another.
