This is a really sweet book about discovering yourself and embracing who you are. It was a tad naive but in a good way. I related to the book and can remember my freshman year in a lot of the same scenarios. I really looked forward to the smart and witty comments from the protagonist, and I felt like the concept was well planned, with the interspersed excerpt from the "fake" novel and the fan fiction. I enjoyed the "other" world that was created just for the context of the book. And the world of

I tried, I really really tried. I wanted to like this, but not only did I not enjoy it, I did not like the main character nor care about what happened to her. What kept me going were Levi and Regan. I have no idea why in the world Levi would fall for her. I had to skip most of the fan fiction. I was just bored. I feel bad.
Loved this book! Love this author. So mad at myself for taking so long to read this book.
