I loved the way the story was broken up into sections by the view point of different characters. So each chapter was with a different character. This made the book flow much more smothly I think then the traditional way. That was a good call on the writer part to do this it helps with the flow of the book. The character devlopment was good. The story is a little long winded, although quite good. I like how the book ended wanting to continue onto the second book to find out what is happening. I gave this book 3 stars and passed it on to my mother.
You know, books are pretty much always better than the movies or TV shows that are based on them. But Game of Thrones was such an awesome TV series that I wondered how much better the book could be. Well, it turns out to be better enough to be worth reading--although my respect for the people making the show increased rather than decreased as I read the book.
