Originally I got this book on a whim--for my sister who likes YA books with almost anything paranormal. I started reading it without expecting much. At first, I was skeptical. Paranormalcy is about Evelyn a girl that hunts paranormal creatures like it says on the book's jacket. Also (on the book cover) I read Aprilynne Pike's review of it "Paranormalcy seduced me.
