Loved it! I haven't enjoyed a vampire book this much in ages. The world-building is amazing and Allison is a kickass, reliable protagonist. The plot had my eyes glued to the pages and the romance was slow and sweet. Hell I even teared up at one point.

This book was so amazing. I'm so glad I have the second book, because I can not have enough of the plot and the characters. I'm serious everything was just right and great. I’m probably going to get pelted with stones for saying this, but I don’t understand the hype behind this novel. Was The Immortal Rules good? Yes, yes it was. Was it amazing? Did it deserve the raving reviews it’s receiving all over the blogosphere? It is truly mind-blowing? In my opinion, no, it’s not. I thought I had lost interest in vampire books. The Immortal Rules has renewed my love for them again.
In The Immortal Rules, Julie Kagawa has created a world in which vampires rule, humans are food cattle and rabids roam the lands. It might interest you, excite you, scare you or haunt you but it will most certainly leave its mark on you and you won't ever be able to forget this story. In a good way of course!
