Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!! Now, I am not the biggest fan of vampire books, but slowly - slowly! - I am being re-converted, by stunning unique novels such as 'The Vampire's Daughter' by Shayne Leighton and now, by my favourite author, Julie Kagawa and her fantastic new series 'The Immortal Rules'.
The novel starts off in a world where humans are nothing but prey - easy pickings for the ruthless hordes of vampires that occupy the Inner City. Leaving the humans with little to no resources and ...more

Allison Sekemoto is living in a world destroyed by the red lung virus, which wiped out most of the human population and lead to the rise of the vampires as the ruling body of the world. Refusing to register as one a piece of property owned by vampires, Allison must live on the “fringes” as a human that scavengers for food and shelter.
The vampires are also affected by the red lung virus and it causes many vampires turned into a “rabid” beast attacking anything. Attempting to get find food, Allie ...more

You see, this is the thing with me. Sometimes, I go & read a book without thinking in the consequences. *Peeks in The Eternity Cure page again*

I had never read ANYTHING from Julie Kagawa, so I was like, Oh yeah, lets try. What's the worst that can actually happen? Gee, IDK, naive, stupid past-self of one-week-ago; Maybe a severe addiction is what could happen while reading such an AWESOME author(!).
But, yeah, this book, Ladies & Gentlemen, is quite... dense(?). Er, no, Complex, that's it.

I can't describe how amazing this book is!
There are no words...
The only thing that really comes to mind when I think of the immortal rules is; holy crap that was one of my favourite books!
You wanna know why? Well...
First off the main character isn't all crazy, love obsessed and all "Ohmahgawd! He looked at me in a way that says to me that he wants me! Holy moly! What a difficult life I lead...I love him too!" So thank you Julie Kagawa for creating a sane girl protagonist with an actual brain. A ...more

The Immortal Rules was everything I expected to be: completely enthralling! After reading and loving The Iron Fey series, you can't help but expect something grandiose from this great author. Julie Kagawa's new series doesn't disappoint, as she once again delivers a novel with a great premise and wonderfully written characters. If I had any doubts about the all-new Blood of Eden series, they completely disappeared after finishing The Immort ...more

If there was one thing I hate the most when I read a book – especially a good one – it’s that it has to end no matter how much I want it not to end (and that sucks big time). And reading The Immortal Rules undoubtedly left me craving for more. I was dying to get my hands on the next book the instant that last page was turned! And with that torturous ending, if I could just personally see and talk to Ms. Julie, I would and tell her to get on with the next book already (and maybe come up with some
