************ORIGINALLY POSTED ON THE BEAUCOUP REVIEW************
I wouldn't count myself as a huge paranormal fan [though I do enjoy it], but this may have turned me.
Told from Allie's point of view, we see her struggling for food and survival as she refuses to be Registered. A Registered is given food, in return for blood every week for the Vampires who run the city. But Allie's mother was killed by Vampires, and she despises them... Until she becomes one.
It causes her to flee her home, and she ...more

Despite not really getting into the Iron Fey series, I was pleasantly surprised when I read this book. I liked Allie as a main character, and I really want to see what she gets up to next.

I don't know, maybe I'm just tired of vampire novels, but I just didn't get into this. Once all the vamp hype has died down, I might give it another shot.
