Overall I really like this book even though it feels like The Hunger Games meets The Bachelor. It keeps me interested through the whole thing and leaves me wondering what will happen next (though come on, if she isn't chosen, I'll be surprised).

I do have a couple of gripes though-

Ugh, I'm sorry, but I just couldn't finish this book. I don't even think I got through the first chapter. I probably should give it another chance, but I just really disliked that chapter so much.

The entire time, I just heard about how America was going to have to choose between Maxon or Aspen. I'm not sure why they think that she deserves their undying loyalty, especially Aspen. Also, America seems so fake to me. I don't like her character at all, and when she was laughing and wincing at Marle ...more

Shelves: not-interested, pfffft, duh, real-stinkers, prettier-covers-than-plots

I dislike this book and this series. It never held my interest, in other words, I found it boring. I didn't like the characters, I didn't care what happened. Didn't do it for me. I enjoy YA fiction, I consider this just plain bad. ...more
