Perfect Chemistry is one of those books that just about everyone seems to love. It has everything a girl could ever want in a book, doesn’t it?
1. Swoon-Worthy Love Interest? Check!
2. Blonde Cheerleader MC? Check!
3. Flirty Banter? Check!
4. Drama/Problems? Check!
5. Steamy Romance? Check!
That, I think is where my problems with this novel lie. Perfect Chemistry reads much like a checklist – as if Simone Elkeles looked at the afore-mentioned list and created a story to perfectly revolve a ...more

Awesome book. Loved the main characters and when i learnt that Alex was a Latino, first thing that came into my mind was Jesse from the Mediator series ;) and i was just waiting for Alex to use the word 'querida' :P

At first,I didn't want to risk reading this book because I thought I wouldn't like it.It was at that time when I wasn't into that kind of stuff and I just had the book sitting there.But I really wanted to read it and now that I'm more into contemporary and romance and all that good stuff,I decided to finally pick this book up.And I read it in like...a day.I couldn't put it down.Compared to other books,it was quite short but it doesn't mean that I enjoyed it less.

Both of the characters are trying to survive everything the world and its people throw their way.But while doing that,they build a wall and pretend to be some people they are not.When Alex meets Brittany and Brittany meets Alex...and their worlds collide,it's obvious that they were meant for each other.But they can't admit.Instead they stay and behave like others want them to.Brittany because of her mother and Alex because of the Latino Blood.He has to be tough in front of the gang because if he screws up,his family is going to pay.He knows that he wants something he can't have and he lets that control his actions.

I fell in love with Alex because under all that toughness,hides a caring young man.He's not perfect.Nobody is.He's an amazing character,even though sometimes,he made some wrong choices.For example,when he let the love of his life get away.In the end he went against what everyone believed and did something with his life.

I also loved Brittany.Even though she's really rich and has everything she would want,she is down to earth.Her problems show us and prove to some people that even people that seem fine and have everything they could ever want,have real problems and suffer.She is a loving and caring person and I loved her relationship with her sister.Her home life was really difficult because of the fact that she had to keep up the pretense of being perfect and reaching her parents' expectations.I strongly believe that she was the reason Alex,did what he did with his life.She inspired him to make his life better.

After reading this book,Alex and Brittany have become one of my favorite couples.I could have written more things of course,about why I loved this book so much but I believe what I've already written is enough! ...more

Wow, this book was just wow!! There was nothing that I did not like about it. The plot, the characters, that ending. Not to mention that I am now in love with the Fuentes brothers, I looked them up on the web, and I am just falling for them more and more after reading these books. This book had it all. Star-crossed lovers who against the stereotypes and the judgements had fell in love after all. The plot was romantic, sweet, really funny, and sad in I AM IN LOVE WITH THE FUENTES BROTHERS!!!!!!!!

Not to mention that I am now in love with the Fuentes brothers, I looked them up on the web, and I am just falling for them more and more after reading these books. This book had it all. Star-crossed lovers who against the stereotypes and the judgements had fell in love after all. The plot was romantic, sweet, really funny, and sad in so many ways. The feels I felt for this book was just to much. I felt sad because of the life Alex has and how he just wants to protect his family after seeing his dad killed in front of him at the he tender age of six. I have to admit, I didn't like Alex when he made that bet about Brittany, but later on the book, he showed me she really cared and that he's not just that Latino boy on the south side, who's in the gang. He was more that that, he was the guy who fell for the rich, white girl in the north side, the guy who was more like her than anyone else and who actually really cared about her. I also felt bad for Brittany because she doesn't want people to see her life at home and her disabled sister. Not to mention her mostly absent father and over controlling mother. I felt proud of her when she finally stood her ground and made her own decisions and didn't care what people thought anymore. But together I saw how similar they really are with each other. They really do deserve each other. Despite the lessons taught in the book and the judgements made by people against Brittany and Alex together, this book gave off a sense of humor too, I felt that that was good because it made you laugh. With Alex and his sarcastic and quirky remarks mixed with Paco and how he acts I had a lot of Joy and laughs with these to. I really liked Paco and it killed me when I reached the end and found out what happened to him. But he really helped Alex and their friendship is what I will always remember. The other characters like Sierra and Mrs.Peterson were also really good because they showed that they had accepted Alex in a way. The ending was sad, but ended on to happy note. I really liked the epilogue and it made me smile a lot. I can wait to read the next book and I will be beyond happy if these books were made into movies. I really enjoyed this book and it taught me a big lesson. It doesn't matter what your life is like and where you are on the social standard, it matters who you are and how you control your own life. I can not wait to read about Carlos and Luis, the other Fuentes brothers. Enjoy!!!!!!

i love this book its one of my fav every person i give this too so they can read it feel in love with it i really want to read rules of attraction carlos sounds hot in the review if u guys like these books u guys should go to YouTube and check the trailers for the three books

I really enjoyed this! It was a quick read, but one for mature teens. I felt some of it was a little rushed, especially the ending, but I wanted to read more every time I put it down, so still a great read!
