Reading Da Book about faeries? NAILED.
Now I can die knowing that I read those books I'd seen ever since I started with my pseudo reviews last year.
Better, even, that I wasn't disappointed. AT ALL.
I loved the details the Nevernever is created with, the Characters & their single personalities, that suddenly Meghan was as confused as I was and how we were drove out of it by the stuff going on around us.

When I tell you that I have had the boxset of this series on my shelves for over 10 years, I'm not being facetious. This series has haunted me through my 20s and straight into my 30s. I don't know why I never picked them up, because THE IRON KING was a pretty fun read!
I love the idea of this girl, who is actually very special, is bullied and she has to prove to everyone that she's more than just the ordinary human girl. These are some of my favourite storylines because I love a good und ...more

A year ago, I finished reading the Iron Fey series, all the four books. And a few days ago, I read Iron King the second time. Now, I loved it when I read it the first time, but...
There was something about reading it the second time that let the dam loose for a whole night, with me hugging the books to sleep.
Reading it the second time proved to be such an emotional experience for me. Since I've read the series, I am already attached to the characters, I am aware of their pasts and their futures. ...more

This book had me constantly switching from 3 to 4 stars but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and give it 4.
I discovered this author a little backwards. I found and read The Immortal Rules first and I loved that so I decided to look at her other books (and look up the next in her dystopian vampire series). When I saw that Julie Kagawa also wrote The Iron Fey series, books I knew about, looked at, but couldn't get into before, I wondered if they were actually any good, despite my litt ...more

Creative and Fabulous are adjectives that describe this great book!
I Love how Megan is stating to discover her powers. She may not be the greatest fighter or a great addition on a physical confront but she fight with her heart and sacrifice herself for the ones that meant for her.
