I personally didn't mind the ending but maybe that is because I didn't choose a side when reading this trilogy. But man did Morpheus sway me to his dark corner in this book you see his sweet side. With out his snide remarks right away he made it easy to fall for him. But I can understand why he is still his snarky self later on since that would get boring with out any challenge or snark in the relationship.
