I don't know how the author does it. She spins so many stories together, from so many different points of view, and it turns out amazing!!!!!! The plot keeps getting more and more complicated, and I can't wait to see how it all turns out!! ...more

Good, but not what I was hoping. Better than the first but not as good as the second.

Problems
- Too many characters and not enough character development
- Too many potential relationships that my head hurts and all my ships have crashed into each other
- Really bland writing style.
- Wasn't a fan of the pacing. At first there was too little happening and then there was too much happening.

- I like the direction the plot is going.

Gathering Darkness is definitely my favorite book out of this series. There was even more adventure, betrayal, new found love, and of course, death. What would a Falling Kingdom novel be without a lot of death? A cannot wait to read the fourth installment this December! I need to know if Cleo and Magnus end up together because, END GAME. And how a certain character's death took it's toll on a certain powerful princess, and WHAT HAPPENS TO THE KINDRED, and again, DO MAGNUS AND C ...more
