Ummm... so... This book is chock full of the most aggravating, whiny, unlikable characters I've read in a while. And stereotypes. So. Many. Stereotypes. I get that Toole is a tragic figure and all, and he definitely had some writing talent, but is this Pulitzer material? I think maybe the Pulitzer people and I have vastly different concepts of a good story.

I don't know if The List and I are working out.
