I think this is one of the most boring books I've ever read. No, not the MOST boring one because I've seen worse, trust me. It tells the story of the Salmon family whose 14 year-old daughter, Susie, was killed on her way back from school. The police neither finds the body nor IDs the killer. To be honest, I never finished it. I don't ever plan to start it again to finish it either. I think it's one of the worst written books I've ever read in my entire life.
Sebold doesn't know how to write. The reader floats through the text unable to interpret where they are whether it be in Susy's world or the real world.
