Never has the other woman seemed more desirable, more attractive, more intelligent & more beautiful than the protagonist. But, in this case, the other woman is perfect and shall remain perfect forever as she is deceased.
I could not put this down. The young, nameless protagonist slips further and further onto the omnipotent shadow of Rebecca, suffocating, struggling. While Rebecca stands in memory as blameless and beautiful. But, thankfully, nobody is perfect...
