Although I found this book quite hard to get into, I found myself enjoying it towards the end. I long to know what happens next so I will no doubt be reading more from Louisa May Alcott. I found myself falling in love with all the characters but one. Amy was a very irritating child and I did not like her one bit. Beth and Jo were my favourites and I hoped that Laurie and Jo would become more than friends at the end.
