Once again, I finish a HP book impressed as hell by Rowling's ingenuity and storytelling ability. This is the last in the series that manages to come in under about 400 pages and other than Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which I remember loving years ago, I think it's the last of the "tighter" and well-paced stories. My favorite in the series so far! Although I did figure out the conceit of the plot pretty early on, it still kept me breathless as everything unfolded. Liked the dark, psychological aspects of it as well, and also how this continues not just to provide serialized entertainment, but unfold a larger, overarching story line.

Freaking awesome!
This is just my humble opinion, but if Rowling plays her cards right with this book series, she can really make a few bucks. Of course, that depends on whether or not a book like this can really inspire kids to read. What are the odds?
