This book is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it to everyone. I am kind of disappointed this book won't get the attention it deserves. When people are talking about NASA and space exploration, they often think it's money better spent here on Earth. Neil deGrasse Tyson swiftly debunks that myth by showing how space exploration has helped us all as a society--rich and poor and young and old--and how that spark has gone away, hurting our society for the worse.

Accessible and essential reading for all. Dr. Tyson's passion and enthusiasm is contagious and entertaining, while remaining spot-on and enlightening. Great collection and highly recommended. ...more
