Informative and succinct. A perfect quick read that can help you choose to be healthier. Seems like a lot to get out of such a little book. Pick it up and enjoy the sage advice from engaging food author Michael Pollan.

Have an hour? This book is a summary of Pollen's "In Defense of Food" and follows a simple philosophy--"Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants." Comprised of 83 simple rules--many of which are common sense or things that we heard our grandmothers tell us repeatedly. However, I must confess that I wish that I hadn't been snacking on potato chips while I was reading it. Hold the dip.

Practical, simple and amusing. Perfect book for those of us who aren't too sure about the hysteria over healthy eating but might consider making some changes--in our own way.
