I just really loved this book. Short and quick to read, but a different type of family story. I thought the story was very well laid out and planned. A bit of a twist at the end. It made you want to immediately visit your mom, give her a hug, and apologize for all the bratty things you'd done to her growing up. Loved it.

I'm probably the only person in the United States who didn't love this book. I thought that the story was predictable and ultimately maudlin. I have regrets about relationships, we all have regrets about relationships, and who wouldn't like to have a "do-over". But let's be a tad more subtle, please. For example, I don't think that we have to be a broke, alcoholic about to commit suicide in our childhood home to have the emotional catharis described in the story. But I may just be on a rant.
