This book makes me weep. Large, flowing tears.
I love The Daily Show; I love snark; I love Jon Stewart; I loved I Am America (And So Can You!) . So why don't I love this book?!?! I think the snarkiness and joking is just too overwhelming... I just couldn't get (and stay) into it. It became more of an exercise to finish it. Sad. ...more

It's too bad that there is some not-school-appropriate language in this book. Otherwise it would be great for the US History classes I teach. Except my high school students wouldn't get most of the jokes. Well, maybe the smart ones would.

This audiobook is absolutely hysterical. I listen to it from time to time in the car, and it never fails to have me laughing out loud the entire commute.
Just watch The Daily Show. JS needs an audience.
