i know i’m around the age group the book was probably meant for. i was Miranda in a way. but i think it’s hard to do this type of book well. at some point, she just sounded whiny, and i don’t do fragile well. at some point it has to go somewhere. i felt the book also had thrown a lot of ick-factors in needlessly so they seemed gimmicky to me. like the holding-pee-in-the-hand scene and others. but there were parts that felt honest, genuine and touching, like Harris and Miranda little character pl

My problem with this book isn’t the writing or character development. Or the sensuality. I didn’t sympathize with the main character, didn’t really like her, and the lack of plot was tiring. I might re-think my rating and feelings over time.
This whole book seemed like Miranda was just trying to one up herself with weirdness. Beautifully written but so so weird.
