I'd never read anything from Mitch Albom before this, but I'd heard about his various books. A group of my students did a literature circle with it in 2005, but I never got around to reading it then.
I have to admit, with "heaven" in the title, I was wary. Often such matter makes me uncomfortable and I hate not to finish a book, but I was pleasantly surprised. No guilt, no scriptures, no heavy-handed lessons. I even got a bit tearful at the end.

i found this book really helpful to me during the time in my life that i read it-very relevant to me and insightful.
This is the most fabulous book; quick read yet phenomenal. I hope heaven is as Mitch has described.
