Great ideas. Now if only Johnson had backed them up with research.

Sad thing is, I know studies confirming his views exist. I've read about them. So WHY didn't he cite them!?

In a way, this book surprised me very little, and as such was not very challenging. This is not really a complaint, as I already knew that this book would tell me what I have learnt myself through studies and experience - popular culture is not dumbing us down. That said, it is a very enjoyable read.
