I initially gave this book a high score because it is entertaining, but:
-1. I must agree with other people who point out that the whole pretense of "freakonomics" as an amazing new science is completely bogus. Some economists keep trying to appropriate other fields like sociology, epidemiology and psychology and then pretend they invented something.

Liked it - the premise makes a lot of sense and I find myself applying their kind of thinking to other situation. Really just an exercise in thinking about ramifications.
Some of the chapters were very interesting and informative and some seemed more like filler.
Worth reading with some kind of insightful, interesting facts and studies. However, nothing worth telling your grandparents about.
I love this book. Gets you to think outside the box. Who thought data analysis could be so fun???
